Delhi Safari

 is an upcoming bilingual stereoscopic 3D animation film directed by Nikhil Advani. It has been produced by Anupam Patil and Kishore Patil by Krayon Pictures (a Pune based 3D animation studio). The story is written by Girish Dhamija and Suresh Nair. The film features the voices of Akshaye Khanna, Govinda, Suniel Shetty, Boman Irani, and Urmila Matondkar. The screenplay of the film is written by Girish Dhamija and Suresh Nair. The film traces the journey of five animals and birds from Mumbai to Delhi. It is India's first stereoscopic 3D animation feature film. The film is dubbed in English as well as Hindi. The film will be released in India on October 19th, 2012.

The English version of the film has voices by Jason Alexander, Cary Elwes, Christopher Lloyd, Jane Lynch, Vanessa Williams and Brad Garrett. The international sales of the film is being handled by Fantastic Films International.

Summary:-

Delhi Safari is the story of a journey undertaken by a cub leopard, his mother, a monkey, a bear and a parrot when the forest they live in is on the verge of destruction. Builders have encroached upon their forest and the animals decide to go to Delhi and protest in front of the parliament and ask the parliament some very simple yet pertinent questions they were - why has man become the most dangerous animal? Doesn't man understand that if the forests and the animals don't co-exist with humans, the balance of the ecosystem will be endangered?

 is a Bollywood political thriller directed by Prakash Jha starring Arjun Rampal, Abhay Deol, Esha Gupta, Manoj Bajpai, Kabir Bedi and Anjali Patil. Chakravyuh is aimed to be a social commentary on the issues of Naxalites. The film has tentatively been scheduled for a 24 October, 2012 release. The first theatrical trailer of Chakravyuh was released in midnight on August 16-17,2012.

Production:-

Chakravyuh is shot in Panchmarhi and Bhopal. The movie was shot at Trinity Institute Of Technology And Research, Bhopal and some scenes were shot at IES and MLB college. The entire schedule of shooting was wrapped up in about 57 days. Prakash Jha has come up with a unique way to promote his upcoming socio-political thriller Chakravyuh by launching an online comic series.The first episode of the series, 'The Sohble Encounters', starts with a bunch of youngsters rounded up from a party by Inspector Sohble (needless to say a clear dig at Inspector Dhoble). Jha has managed to pitch it cleverly in the backdrop of his film.The first installment of the series will go online soon.

One song Tata, Birla, Ambani aur Bata had run into trouble with the Censor Board but was passed after a disclaimer saying these names have been used symbolically and it does not mean any harm or disrespect to any individual or brand. One song is picturised on Sameera Reddy and Murali sharma. There is item song Tambai Rang Tera in the film, choreographed by Ganesh Acharya..

Seven Psychopaths : can't handle its own crazy

Seven Psychopaths :can't handle its own crazy,black comedy almost too shrewd for its own good   

Martin McDonagh's In Bruges was one of the unexpected delights of 2008. It's a film that's endlessly watchable and as a result it makes the filmmaker's follow-up, Seven Psychopaths, a much anticipated project. Taking into account McDonagh brought back his In Bruges star Colin Farrell and aligned him opposite the likes of Christopher Walken, Sam Rockwell, Woody Harrelson and Tom Waits makes it all sound too good to be true. Unfortunately, it is, at least for those of us hoping lightning would strike twice.

The writer-director, Irish playwright Martin McDonagh ("In Bruges"), is a master of nasty laughs, and he keeps them coming … and coming. There’s barely time to catch your breath. If movies could pick their own flaws, though, this would be the one to go for.

Colin Farrell is Marty, a blocked writer who’s stuck on his latest screenplay. He has a title—"Seven Psychopaths"—but the rest won’t come. Marty’s just a regular guy; what does he know about lunatics? His best friend, Billy (Sam Rockwell), would like to help, but, being completely nuts, he’s a dubious source of counsel. Billy kidnaps dogs for a living, lifting them from a local park and turning them over to his partner, a coot named Hans (Christopher Walken), to return to their heartbroken owners for cash rewards (which Hans accepts with a carefully calibrated reluctance).

Intentional or not, I was also struck by the sheer number of females of color in this cast.  Yes, most of the female characters "can't string a sentence together," but considering how many genre films are lucky to have two females period, it's worth noting that we see quite a few women-of-color in this gangland story.  Of these, Linda Bright Clay shines brightest as Christopher Walken's cancer-stricken wife.  Speaking of which, Chris Walken delivers what is arguably his best performance sinceCatch Me If You Can (not that I don't love his turns in The Rundown, Hairspray, or the criminally underrated Balls of Fury) and what I would argue is one of his finest performances, period.  In a film full of bloodthirsty well, psychopaths, Walken is refreshingly cast as one of the least outwardly crazy characters in the film and the closest thing the film has to a heart-and-soul.  It's a perfect mix of Walken-doing-Walken shtick and a genuine dramatic performance, using his patented verbal gymnastics to mask a sad old man filled with regret but too wise to spend his final days wallowing in self-pity.  In a more high-profile film, Walken would be a lock for an Oscar nomination.

Farrell's character is far more tame than his In Bruges performance, but he still takes full advantage and the brief moments we spend with Tom Waits are well worth it.

However, all of these moments are individual pieces to a story where most everything else that surrounds them are simply "ho hum" and forgotten as soon as you see them. This isn't to say Harrelson doesn't have his moments and even Zeljko Ivanek has a couple of great lines, but all of these little standout moments don't add up to an overall winning narrative.

The story feels like its on life support and needs a jump start every five minutes or so. And with a film that runs 11 minutes shy of two hours, that's a lot of ups and downs.

Sinister - Scott Derrickson's New Classic Best Horror Film of All Time :

Sinister, which opens wide on Oct. 12, has a perfect 100 percent on Rotten Tomatoes at the time of this posting. Granted, it's early still, and only 20 reviews are in (notorious horror hater Roger Ebert has yet to weigh in), but the film is inspiring gushing notices. There's no question that Scott Derrickson's film is among the best horror films of the year, but that is faint praise because it's been a really shitty year for the genre.

Found footage helps a true-crime novelist realize how and why a family was murdered in his new home, though his discoveries put his entire family in the path of a supernatural entity.

Derrickson’s follow-up, The Day the Earth Stood Still, which followed the pattern of the Spielberg-like “one for me, one for you” (a phrase derived from a filmmaker’s imposition to make a film based upon and primarily controlled by his or her own instincts, followed by a film controlled by a studio or distributor’s hankerings for profit), was a critical bomb. So, then, it was pondered, was Derrickson just a one-hit wonder, perhaps now just a film studio’s go-to boy for cash-and-dash remakes? Well, to say it bluntly, S.D.’s magic has returned ... sort of

To say Sinister is of the level of Emily Rose, or even better, would be a disservice to the complete horror of a film (I mean that in a good way) that Rose was. It had it all: fantastic performances from top-tier actors in Laura Linney and Tom Wilkinson, a fascinating premise, and the dedication to the “less is more” horror aesthetic — an aesthetic, I don’t care how many people disparage, is best served in the realm of true horror. Nothing, not even what the best filmmakers and FX people can create, will be as scary as your own imagination and the suspense that precedes the revelation, or lack of which, that will follow.

Sinister, Derrickson’s return to straight horror, is a massage of tropes. He’s recently stated in interviews that his three favorite horror films are The Shining, The Exorcist and The Changeling — three classics of scary cinema. So, it’s easy to see the influence these films have on his latest vehicle.

Ellison is soon made aware of a force that may be an even bigger attention whore than he is when an image that keeps popping up in the videos. We see traces of it and then a full-on clear freeze frame that causes the Super 8 film to catch aflame. But what is it, this Grim Reaper-esque figure that keeps showing his weird face in the footage? Is it a person in a mask? A black metal band member? The Saw puppet Billy? Unfortunately, the answer is a little too convenient (spoilerish hint: it's in the realm of the supernatural, where anything goes) and Sinister joins a growing list of movies this year whose setups have more rewards than their miniscule payoffs.

Lots of good ideas abound in Sinister, as do cool references – the entire movie could be read as a more hardcore take on The Ring and the deputy character is campily stilted enough in a movie that otherwise isn't to suggest Blue Velvet homage. But the parts outweigh the sum. It's almost like Sinister knows its genre a little too well and underwhelms as a matter of course.

Rush a thriller film

Rush 

is an upcoming Bollywood thriller film directed by Priyanka Desai and late Shamin Desai. The film is to feature Emraan Hashmi, Aditya Pancholi, Neha Dhupia and Sagarika Ghatge. The storyline will be based on media and crime. After the death of Shamin Desai, the project was completed by his wife Priyanka Desai under Percept Picture Company in association with Showman International. The film is expected to release 24th October 2012 on Bakri-Eid.

Summary

The story follows media, politics, crime and romance at the point of life and death. Sam Grover (Emraan Hashmi) is a struggling news reporter. Even though his talk show is at the pinnacle of success, his personal life has turned upside down due to problems with his wife (Sagarika Ghatge). Seeing no way out, he accepts an assignment offered by a dynamic media tycoon named Lisa (Neha Dhupia), which he believes can make him millions. However, along with Lisa, one of India's most richest man, Roger Khanna (Aditya Pancholi), together play a game on Sam, which plunges him into a vortex of violence in a deadly game of cat and mouse. Beneath the veneer of glamour, money, power and the enviable life of media, lays a truth that is at once unbelievable and shocking.

Production and Development

The film was thought of in 2010 by Shamin Desai. In late 2010, he had titled the film Raftaar 24x7 and had casted Emraan Hashmi and Sagarika Ghatge. Soon enough, Desai died and the film was shelved and reported to be cancelled. In October 2011, Shamin's wife Priyanka Desai announced that she will rewrite the film and complete it as a memorial for her late husband. In January 2012, the film started production under the title Play. After filming quite a few scenes, it was announced that the film had been renamed once again, to Rush. The first look was revealed in July 2012, while the theatrical trailer unveiled on 24th September 2012 on Bollywood Hungama. Originally expected to release on 26th October 2012, the film was pre-poned and will now release on 24th October 2012.

The Soundtrack received mixed reviews. Suhail of Gomolo, gave the soundtrack 4 out of 5 stars justifying the soundtrack as 'An Everlasting Package' with tracks that are too hard to drop-out. Rush soundtrack is a Highly outrageous travel!. Harshit of happysing gave the soundtrack positive response saying, "Rush has some really good songs, chhup chhup ke and Mumkin Nahi are must listen.Worth a try for all and worth a buy if you’re a music lover.

Makkhi

Makkhi (English: Fly) is a 2012 Telugu fictional film written and directed by S S Rajamouli. It is produced by Sai Korrapati. It is edited by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. It stars Sudeep, Samantha and Nani in lead roles and was simultaneously made in Tamil as Naan Ee. M. M. Keeravani composed the film's music while K. K. Senthil Kumar handled cinematography and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao handled the editing.
The state of the art Photo realistic animation and Visual effects were supervised by Rahul Venugopal, Adel Adili and Pete Draper of Makuta effects. Upon release, it received rave reviews.
The film was screened and received critical acclaim at L'Étrange Festival and Sundance Film Festival.

SUMMARY

Nani is a young man who makes fireworks. He lives in a house opposite Bindu (Samantha), who is a micro artist and who also runs Project 511, an NGO. Nani is in in love with Bindu for two years and has been constantly showing his love for Bindu. Bindu too loves Nani back but plays hard to get and hides her love from him.
Sudeep is a multi-millionaire industrialist who also happens to be a womaniser. He had even killed his wife for her money. One day, Bindu goes to Sudeep's office to see if he would like to donate money to her NGO. Sudeep is about to send her away, until he sees Bindu through the opening of his office door. He immediately lusts for her, and calls her into his office. Bindu, not knowing of Sudeep's true intentions, tells him all about her NGO, who donates 15 lakhs to it. Bindu thanks Sudeep, who asks her out to lunch.
At the restaurant, Bindu sees Nani and his friends installing fireworks across the street. Sudeep notices that Bindu keeps staring at Nani and becomes jealous. Later, when Sudeep and Bindu stop at a market, Nani also comes and walks with Bindu. Sudeep follows them the whole time. That night, Bindu works late and she needs an escort to go home, so she calls Nani who comes to her office and walks her home. At this point, Nani gives Bindu an idea to help finish a necklace she was working on and Bindu is finally ready to confess her love towards Nani. But just in front of Bindu's doorstep, and just after dropping her home, Sudeep kidnaps Nani and takes him to a graveyard, where he beats him mercilessly. He tells Nani that he loves Bindu. Nani tells Sudeep that if he goes anywhere near Bindu, he will kill him. At this, Sudeep strangles Nani to death, right after Bindu tells Nani she loves him through a text and a phone call. Upon hearing that Bindu loves him too, Nani dies. But then, he is reborn as a fly.

After getting used to his new life as a fly, and experimenting with his new abilities, Nani ends up in Sudeep's office. After he sees Sudeep, Nani remembers his past life and wants to take revenge on Sudeep for what he had done. He keeps following Sudeep around, irritating him to the core. Meanwhile, Bindu is grieving the death of Nani, and Sudeep is still trying to make Bindu love him.
One day, Sudeep calls Bindu to her office and asks her to come to Delhi with him to meet the Education Minister, who is planning to nationally recognise Bindu's NGO. Bindu agrees. Nani notices this and causes Sudeep to meet with an accident while he is driving to the airport. Sudeep, lying injured in his wrecked car, sees Nani write the words "I will kill you". From that point, Sudeep starts fearing Nani the fly, becomes paranoid about it and tries all means to ensure Nani does not enter his house.

PRODUCTION and DEVELOPMENT

The film was launched in 2010, with Rajamouli deciding to shoot the film simultaneously in Telugu (as Eega) and Tamil (Naan Ee) and it was originally conceptualised as a "small experimental film", right after Rajamouli had completed the Telugu film Magadheera and Maryada Ramanna. Nani and Samantha were selected for the lead roles, while Kannada actor Sudeep was chosen to portray a negative role. Reports suggesting that Kajal Aggarwal would perform an item number were denied by Rajamouli. James Floyd was originally announced as the cameraman but he was replaced by Rajamouli's norm cameraman K. K. Senthil Kumar.
The unit used a Scorpio Crane for the first time in the history of Telugu cinema. The climax portion was shot at Ramanaidu studios. Completion of first schedule led producer to arrange a party. A huge set was erected at the Saradhi Studios.

The film was initially planned to be released in May 2012 but due to extensive CGI and VFX work, it got delayed. Release of the film was again postponed from June 22, 2012 because the unit was said to be striving 24/7 for the quality of CG. The film was censored on June 26, 2012 and received an U/A rating by the Central Board of Film Certification for few smoking scenes which is considered integral to story.  Both the Telugu and Tamil versions with a dubbed Malayalam version were released on July 6, 2012 with over 1200 prints. The film was reported to be dubbed and released in Hindi also. Distribution rights were sold for  34 crores. Eega will be releasing in Hindi on October 12, 2012.

RELEASE

The film has collected 17 Crores in its first day worldwide. Overall, the film has grossed about 115 crores worldwide as of July 27, 2012. The film has completed 50 days on August 24, 2012. The film has grossed more than 125 crores as of September 13, 2012. The film is completing 100 days on October 13, 2012.

SOUNDTRACK

The soundtrack of the film was composed by M. M. Keeravani, usual associate of Rajamouli. The audio was released on March 30, 2012 at Brahama Kumari's Academy in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. It was released through Vel Records, owned by M. M. Keeravani. Ramajogayya Sastry, Anantha Sreeram, Chaitanya Prasad and M.M.Keeravani penned one song each in the album.
Milliblog wrote: "Eega’s soundtrack sees Keeravani what he’s known for – pushing the bar to interesting new levels; some of it doesn’t entirely work, but welcome effort". Musicperk wrote: "Eega is an album that is here to stay. A perfect combination of all the ingredients needed to keep an album alive in the memory of young listeners in particular".

The weirdest thing about Rob Cohen's upcoming movie Alex Cross, adapted from James Patterson's novel Cross, isn't that Tyler Perry plays the titular hero. It's that Tyler Perry appears to have had relatively little to do with the movie. He hasn't stamped his name all over the title – it isn't called Tyler Perry Presents Tyler Perry's Alex Cross, for example. Tyler Perry doesn't transform the character into an overweight grandmother with a fondness for spouting sub-Oprah self-help psychobabble. For a Tyler Perry film, Alex Cross looks relatively sober.

In the first trailer for "Alex Cross," Perry plays detective ... Alex Cross (a role originally portrayed by Morgan Freeman in "Kiss the Girls" and "Along Came a Spider"), who ends up in a cat-and-mouse game with a killer by the name of --according to IMDb -- Picasso. (Can't wait for the line where Matthew Fox tells Perry that what he does to him will make Guernica look like a cakewalk.)

Jab Tak Hai Jaan

Jab Tak Hai Jaan (Translation: Till There Is Life) is an upcoming 2012 Bollywood romantic film directed
by Yash Chopra and written and produced by Aditya Chopra under their production banner Yash Raj Films.
The film features Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in the lead roles, making it the first film to pair Khan and Kaif and the second collaboration between Khan and Sharma after Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. It is Yash Chopra's fourth film to feature Shahrukh Khan in the lead role and it marks his return as a director after eight years. Chopra's last film was Veer-Zaara in 2004.
The background score and soundtrack is by A. R. Rahman while the lyrics are penned by Gulzar.
The film is scheduled to release on the six-day Diwali weekend which begins on November 13, 2012.

Prior to the film's release, Kaif's role was described as "the archetypal Yash Chopra seductress, an unattainable beauty." She was reported to have put in a significant amount of work to make her character believable,  was helped by Khan, who had prior experience with the director. Anushka Sharma was reported to have been portraying the second female lead in the film. In an interview with a leading daily journal, Anushka stated, "I play a girl by the name Akira. She is a 21 year old who wants to work for Discovery Channel and make documentaries. She is extremely ambitious and would do anything to make it big and realize her dreams."

Development and Filming

In June 2011, Yash Raj Films released a statement announcing a new directorial venture by Yash Chopra
which would coincide with the 50th anniversary of his career in Bollywood. The producers also
announced that the film would release on the Diwali 2012 weekend. According to Chopra, the film was
planned in early 2009 but he did not want Khan to work on any film other than his simultaneously.
In an interview with The Telegraph he said, "My film is an emotional film. It is not comedy, action,
escapism...This is what we call an internal film. There are only three characters their emotions,
happiness, sadness."

He also stated that the film was untitled at that time, similar to his previous project Veer-Zaara
which was named on the day of its submission to the Central Board of Film Certification. The producers had considered a variety of options for the title but were reportedly not satisfied with any of them. In September 2012, it was officially announced that the title of the movie was Jab Tak Hai Jaan. The title seeming to have been inspired from a song of the same name from the 1975 hit film Sholay.
Initially the film's principal photography was expected to commence in November 2011. However, it had
to be delayed since Khan wanted to take a break after his two releases in 2011, Ra.One and Don 2.
Principal photography officially began on January 9, 2012 at Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai, where a significant portion of the film was also shot.
After the schedule in India, the crew began a 35-day filming schedule in London beginning on February 22, 2012. The film was shot under the working title of Production 45. Khan arrived in London on February 21, 2012 and completed filming his appearance on March 26. During filming, photos of the actors on the sets were leaked on the Internet, inciting a camera ban by the producers and an increase in the amount of security for the film's production.  A number of locations throughout the city featured in the film, including the Borough Market, Jubilee Walk, the Tower Bridge and Canary Wharf. A car crash sequence was filmed at Shepherd's Bush by closing down four streets in the area. The schedule was completed on March 27, 2012 at an indoor location in East London. The romantic scenes of the film were directed by Chopra's son Aditya Chopra to give the romance a more contemporary feel.  The climax of the film, initially planned by Chopra to be shot in the mountains of Kashmir, was relocated to Ladakh. This was apparently a suggestion of Khan whose movie Dil Se.. had been shot in the area many years earlier. However, portions of the film were later
filmed in three different cities of Kashmir—Srinagar, Pahalgam and Gulmarg.

Marketing

A teaser trailer was released along with the theatrical release of Ek Tha Tiger as well as through the
firm's official YouTube channel on August 15, 2012. The 1:30 minute clip showed glimpses of Yash
Chopra's successful yet acclaimed directorial ventures and then highlighted his upcoming film. The
trailer incorporated the preludes of the song Challa as the background music. Yet again, the film
remained untitled as "A Yash Chopra Romance." The teaser crossed over one million views in less than
three days.

The main theatrical trailer of nearly 2:30 minutes featuring the film's title was released on
September 20, 2012 through Yash Raj Film's official YouTube channel. It received a tremendous response
on YouTube with a million views on the first day and 30,000 likes within a week, surpassing the record
held by The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, making it the first film trailer in the world to
achieve this number in such a short amount of time.

Soundtrack

The soundtrack for the film is composed by A. R. Rahman while the lyrics are penned by Gulzar.
The first song of the soundtrack was completed in December 2011.By February 2012, Rahman told in an
interview with The Times of India that he had completed three songs for the film.A part of the lyrics
of the title song were released prior to the launch of the soundtrack. Singer Neeti Mohan made her
debut as a playback singer in this soundtrack. Eventually, it was also confirmed that Rabbi Shergill
had sung the lines in the end of the instrumental version of song Challa which was featured in the
first trailer of the film.

The video promo of the first song, Challa, that was released on October 1, 2012 also garnered over
million views within a day of its release. It was also made available as a complete track for digital
download. A small portion of a song Heer Heer Naa Akho Adiyon sung in Punjabi by Harshdeep Kaur was
leaked on the internet on October 7, 2012. The video promo of the romantic track Saans - Breathe of
Love was launched on October 9, 2012 at 4:30 PM IST at an event in Mumbai.The track list of the album
was first revealed on October 8, 2012 on A. R. Rahman's official website.

Moonrise Kingdom - A hand-drawn cinematic experience!

Through Web Anderson's lens and the orchestral framework, the world appeared to be more candid and real. An adolescent love story based on two adolescents set up in 1965, Moonrise Kingdom has all the elements to keep the audiences glued to the big screen for ninety-four minutes.

A confectioner with all the time in the world, Wes Anderson's latest cinematic pastry is a work of obsessive detailing and characteristically artful icing, all colours and dreamy sequences and frames good enough to eat. 

Yet Moonrise Kingdom -- which manages the stunning feat of being both entirely unreal as well as entirely relatable, both the stuff of children as well as the yearning of ex-children -- is one of the director's most emotionally fulfilling films, a curio-box cranked to play a tune good enough to moisten the eye. There is a spectacular amount of icing, to be sure, but the film merits every bit of this garnish.

For it is also, remarkably enough, a fully-realised and quite overwhelming love story: a romance for the ages that also just happens to be an underage romance. Anderson's film is about two 12 year olds in love, an idea those of us exiled from Neverland look at with naturally indulgent smiles, as if they're misguided, as if they have no concept of romantic commitment, as if they don't know what love is -- and, absurdly enough, as if we know better. 

The show stealer, Sam Shakusky (Jared Gilman) is an orphan running from boy scouts and foster parents leaving his scout leader and guardian sheriff Captain Sharp. Suzy (Kara Hayward) is the only rebellious daughter and the eldest child of married lawyers (Bill Murray and Frances McDormand). So what happens when these two twelve year olds head off for a prosperous and bight future? Yes, 12 year olds!!

So the story of Moonrise Kingdom is easily recognisable, as most of us have gone through the phase of naïve blunderings, foolish notions and mindless conflicts in our early teens. So disobeying the code of conduct set by the world, these kids are too determined to set themselves free and set a world of their own in what the island they would like to name ‘Moonrise Kingdom'. The plot is easily relatable and gives one a convincing lump of nostalgia.

Each character is crisp, defined and contemporaneous. The adult group did full justice to their part as the kids undoubtedly stole the show. Anderson has played wonderfully with the idea of two socially awkward kids getting together.

If you love Wes Anderson, you'll love Moonrise Kingdom. The mid 60's make an incredible visual on display. Overall, watching this quirky-unusual-crazy romance ensures one an unforgettable and hand drawn cinematic experience.

Ishkq in Paris

Ishkq in Paris is an upcoming Hindi film  Directed by Prem Raj and Produced by Preity Zinta and Neelu Zinta.The film is written by the director and producer. The film starting with Preity Zinta, Rhehan Malliek and Isabelle Adjani. Its debugged in three languages Hindi, English and French. The theatrical trailer was released on August 9, 2012.

Summary

Akash (Rhehan Malliek) and Ishkq (Preity Zinta), two complete strangers, after having met on a train from Rome to Paris, end up spending the evening together in the romantic city.
However, owing to a ‘no baggage’ pact set by Ishkq, the two part ways the next morning without a proper goodbye. Ishkq, being the strong-headed independent girl, moves on, while Akash ends up falling for the girl he spent the evening with. They cross paths once again in Paris but will there be ‘Ishkq In Paris’?

Preity Zinta who is also the producer of the film, was signed for the lead female role. It has been often regarded as her big comeback film, after 4 years. The male lead is to be played by Rhehan Malliek, who was previously known as Gaurav Chanana, who is a former television actor. The film also stars French actress, Isabelle Adjani. It will be the first time that Isabelle Adjani will play in an Hindi movie. For the part, she has learnt Hindi. Director Shekhar Kapur will also be featured in the film, while actor Salman Khan will be making a cameo appearance as himself. The film was shot across Paris, France and also in India.
The first look or poster of the film was launched on July 5, 2012. A second poster was released on August 7, 2012. The first look launch was held in a hotel in Mumbai, India, and was attended by many from inside and outside the industry. A third poster was released a day later, on August 8, 2012. A fourth poster will also be released along with the trailer on August 9, 2012. The trailer was launched at Aug 9 and can be viewed on YouTube.
The film was earlier expected to be released on September 21, 2012, later postponed to 5 October 2012. However was postponed again and is now set for release on November 2, 2012.

Sound Track

It was announced that music director duo Sajid-Wajid will be composing the songs for Ishkq in Paris. Till date September 7, 2012, the actress Preity Zinta has only released two songs of the film via her YouTube channel pznzmediaoffcicial by the titles of It's All About Tonight and Kudiye Di Kurti which features Salman Khan as a Special Appearance. The entire soundtrack release date was announced on 15 September via Zinta's Twitter Account. The release date is September 17, 2012.The songs are penned by Jalees Sherwani and Prasoon Joshi, Kumaar,Kausar Munir, Sophie Choudhry and Priya Panchal.
